Permission denied message is usually caused by an inaccurate setting in your jhed profile. To check this follow the steps below and/or view this video
- Go to http://my.jhu.edu
- Login JHED ID:
- Go to my profile
- Scroll down to Primary campus users' profiles (at the bottom of the profile page); no selection or an offsite selection will exclude access to the databases.
- Homewood (the main campus) is a good choice – even if you take classes online, in DC, Montgomery or Columbia
- Don’t forget to Save your profile
- (May take 24 hours to activate--)
Remember, when accessing Reserves use Firefox or Chrome.
Also, in addition to going through Blackboard, you can try to access the reserves site directly. You will be asked for jhed id and password.
